Admission Requisites to Study in Australia
  • For Diploma courses, the applicant must have scored 60% marks in class XII examination.
  • For Bachelor’s degree courses, the applicant must have scored 65% or more in class XII examination.
  • For Master’s degree courses, the applicant must have a bachelor’s degree. For the majority of Australian Universities, a good undergraduate degree from an eminent university from India or any other country is required.
  • In terms of Educational Documents, the applicant has to submit a X standard mark sheet, XII standard mark sheet, and a bachelor’s degree. (If in case the applicant does not have an undergraduate degree, he can submit the provisional along with the mark sheet.
  • As the first language of Australia is English, hence the most commonly accepted exam for pursuing studies in Australia is IELTS, i.e. The International English Language Testing System. Moreover, it is also the only English proficiency exam accepted by the Australian Department of Immigration and Citizenship.
  • If you’re planning to pursue MBA program in any Australian University or a business school, you might need to take the GMAT, i.e. Graduate Management Admission Test. However, not every university requires GMAT.
  • To check the eligibility requirements, you can refer to the particular university you are interested in.
  • If you are applying for an MBA program in any of the Australian universities or B-School, you might need to submit work experience certificates which should include the tenure, job profile and the key responsibilities held during your job.
  • A Letter of Recommendation from your professor or someone you know professionally is required, mentioning your strengths and weaknesses and how he/she would be a great asset to the university.
  • A Statement of Purpose (SOP), highlighting career goals, extracurricular activities, interests, reason why the applicant has chosen the particular course, and how he/she will manage the expenses while living in Australia.
